Each animal is a little different, so the exact number of each cut may vary slightly. That said, your half cow will include all of the cuts below, giving your family a beautiful variety of steaks, roasts, savory cuts, and everyday staples to stock the freezer well.

A Half Cow takes about6–8 cubic feetof freezer space. That’s roughly the size of a small chest freezer, or half of a standard upright freezer.
How long will it last?
