Since I was a little girl, I've always been drawn to the art and science of ranching. There's something fascinating about a new calf coming into the world and how its mom will teach him or her how to graze grass, grass that appears new each year. There are a few things in the world that are truly new, yet each year billions of grass plants sprout from the soil and newborn calves scatter the nation.

It all started, in 2006, after my second brother had been born, my parents founded Parker Pastures. Their vision was to provide my younger brothers and I with high-quality food raised in a way that was healing to the Earth. When they started, we had all the animals you’d find on a ranch, and I mean all. Chickens for eggs. Chickens for meat. Milk cows. Pigs. Sheep, and of course beef cattle. As the years unfolded, and we learned lessons over time, it became clear that what we do best is fattening cattle off of grass. So our fields became full of cattle and are to this day.

Summertime would look like building miles and miles of electric fence and moving the cattle to fresh pasture daily. Then usually once a week or every other week, we would sort off the fattest cattle, and they would go to the processing plant. Tuesdays were a family affair and everyone would help ship boxes upon boxes of meat out across the country. This was many years of my life, mixed in with also raising lambs, and learning how to grow a business.

But, like most small-town kids, I wanted to spread my wings and do other things. In 2020 I moved up to Wyoming to work on a ranch for the summer, and later that fall I moved again to Oklahoma to gain a different experience in the ranching industry. My plan was to gain skills and then eventually start my own thing but God had other plans.

In November 2021 my mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer and everything I've ever imagined for my life got flipped upside down.

I returned home immediately to help my family and, at 18, found myself at the helm of the business, managing payroll, operations, and everything in between.

Ranching is my first love, and providing nutrient-dense meat is my purpose.

So, in 2023 just before my 20th birthday, I officially took over Parker Pastures, and it has been a God-ordained journey ever since.

What started as a focus on being the "Best In Beef" has grown into something even greater. We now collaborate with a select group of world-class ranchers and farmers, offering not just beef, but also pork, chicken, lamb, and bison—raised on pasture, free from antibiotics, mRNA vaccines, and growth hormones.

In honor of my mom and for the health of all, I guarantee that with Parker Pastures, you’ll always receive flavorful, nutrient-dense meat that you can feel great about eating—meat that heals.

Honored to be your rancher,
Cloe Parker

I am not a big red meat fan. That being said, the ground beef I got from Parker Pastures was some of the best I've ever tasted! I'm super picky when it comes to red meat and this meat was divine!
