Each animal is a little different, so the exact number of each cut may vary slightly. Your whole cow will include all of the cuts below, giving your family a beautiful variety of steaks, roasts, savory cuts, and everyday staples to stock the freezer well.

WILL IT FIT IN MY FREEZER?

A whole cow will be about 350–420 lbs of beef, which takes 14–16 cubic feet of freezer space.

For perspective:

That’s about the size of a large upright freezer or a big chest freezer.
If you only have a standard fridge freezer, you’ll want to add a standalone chest freezer to store it comfortably.

How long will it last?
